Day 3 - Epcot

We had a wonderful day at Epcot on our 3rd day at the Disney World theme parks. We weren't sure how much there would be for little children to do at Epcot, but I think it may have been one of their favorite days. Micah and I experienced our favorite ride at Epcot - Soarin'. It was this wonderful combination of ride/movie/hang-gliding experience. Warm air blew in our faces while sitting in the contraption, and it truly felt like we were soaring over the ground. The girls loved The Seas with Nemo and friends, the Living with the Land ride, and SB experienced her first adult ride by riding Test Track.

We ate lunch at the Coral Reef restaurant (table service) at 12:45. We got a table right beside the huge aquarium, and we all loved watching for the turtles, sharks, and rays throughout our meal. We had quick service meals at Lotus Blossom Cafe in China for me, and fish and chips for Micah in England for dinner. I have to say the quick service Chinese food wasn't very good, and it's the one meal I would do differently (but I've heard great things about the table service Chinese restaurant - maybe next time!). The girls had hot dogs and chips at a vendor's booth.

AM LOVED the ice cream sundae dessert she got at the Coral Reef restaurant - vanilla ice cream, a small bowl of sprinkles, and another bowl of m & m's, presented on the plate shaped like Mickey.

After our time at Epcot, both girls decided how they'd like to spend the money given to them by Mimi and Granddaddy. AM got Minnie Mouse flip flops (that we found at Epcot), and SB got a Marie (from The Aristocats) stuffed animal.
