Family Reunion

We got to go visit with Mimi's side of the family for a reunion during April. SB kept asking, "Is that person my cousin? Is that person my cousin?" Since I didn't know everyone there, I just had to keep telling her, "Probably so!" It was great to see Mimi, Granddaddy, Amy, Jason, and BenBen (AM's new nickname for him) too!

OH, and apparently our SB is not quite as shy as we thought she was. During the reunion, which took place at a church gymnasium, a sound system had been set up so we could sing hymns, and others could perform songs they had prepared in advance to sing. SB wanted to know if she could sing too, so Granddaddy marched her up front, where she proceeded to sing "Jesus Loves Me" into the microphone. After help from me in the beginning to get started, she didn't need any more help to get through the song. It's funny to see the things that make her shy (ex: talking to her preschool teacher, or asking an adult for something), but she didn't mind singing in front of a big crowd. We're excited to continue to see as God contiues to reveal her personality to us!
