I participated in another 5k this past Saturday. It was the 1st Race For Life 5k in our town, and took place as part of the Walk for Life for Breast Cancer Prevention/Awareness. Micah and the girls and I made our way downtown early on Saturday morning, and they lined up at the starting line and finish line to cheer me on. My goals were to run the entire race, and to finish in a faster time than I did for my first 5k back in April. I'm excited to say that I met both goals. My time was 34:00 (now all I have to do is shave off 13 minutes so I can be a contender in my age group - Ha! Ha!).
