4th of July

Our 4th of July was lowkey this year. The girls really liked holding sparklers in our driveway, then we went to see the fireworks display at a nearby shopping area. We were afraid they wouldn't be able to set off the fireworks because a huge thunderstorm erupted just before dark. But, everything cleared away just as it grew dark enough to begin the show. We were glad we parked across the street from the fireworks because AM didn't like how loud everything was (in fact, she found a pair of earmuffs in the car, so we put them on her to muffle the sound).
