Earlier this week, it snowed 5 whole inches here in SC! We were so excited to have 2 days at home as a family (all the schools closed, and most of the businesses, including Micah's). We ventured out into the snow two times on the first day. The girls really liked it, but AM's hands kept getting so cold that she'd cry. We'll have to invest in some better gloves for her if we get any more snow. The snow was too dry (then too frozen over due to the sleet/freezing rain that followed) to build a snowman. We just enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, going for a wagon ride, and the girls liked sliding on their mini-playground in the backyard. We had fun inside too - we ate popcorn, made cookies, and watched movies (the girls got to watch Annie for the first time and loved it! - SB was singing Annie songs for 2 days). Our two days together as a family were truly a gift from God!

Getting dressed up in about 8 layers of clothing to play in the snow

(I just thought this was a funny picture - is there any time that isn't good to read the Bible, even while getting your diaper changed?)
