We went to the Ringling Brothers, Barnum, and Bailey Circus this past Friday morning. It was a lot of fun to see SB experience her first big show. Since she didn't know what to expect, she did sit in our laps the entire show, but she didn't take her eyes off the action. There was one main door where all the elephants, clowns, etc. kept coming in and out, and she kept her eyes glued to those doors to see what would happen next. When we asked her later what her favorite thing was, she said, "the dancing part." There were lots of songs and dancers with the acts. We saw elephants, zebras, dogs, men/women doing flying stunts on ribbons from the ceiling, ladies shot through cannons, an elephant who disappeared, a tight rope act, and lots of silliness from clowns. All in all, we knew we could call the day a success when we got in the car to go home and SB said, "Let's go again tomorrow!"

Wide-Eyed with excitement!

SB held tightly to us, but couldn't keep her eyes off the action.

One of the great stunts occured when this man jumped through the hoop of fire.

Elephants on parade

SB was excited to play with her new souvenir from the circus
It looks like she got a light-flashing-shiny-thingy. Very cool!
